FREQUENTLY ASKED  QUESTIONS

A. MVHC has been inaugurated on 26 September 2012. MVHC is situated on the North border of capital city of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, known to be the ‘city of lakes’. MVHC is within MCEE (Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence) campus, in Lambakheda, on Berasia Road high way.
A. Bhopal city is well connected with air, trains and roads. Number of flights (Jet Airwarys, Air India, Spice Jet, Ventura) from Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Kahjuraho, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai (Bombay), Nagpur and Raipur are connecting Bhopal to many other cities. Most of the trains coming from North, South, East and West pass through Bhopal. Bhopal is centre point of many national highways.

MHVC is only at distance of 20 minutes drive from Raja Bhoj Airport and central railway station, Bhopal. Bus station is also about 20 km and new interstate bus station is about 20 kms. If requested in advance, MVHC will make necessary arrangements for local transportation. MVHC has big and small buses and cars for pickup and drop service.

A. Maharishi Vedic Health Centre building is 4 story measuring 90000 sqft. It has beautifully appointed 44 single bedrooms and 14 large twin bed suites, all with attach bath. MVHC has 8 consultation rooms, 18 treatment rooms, 18 rooms to rest after treatment, several class rooms, seminar room, large conference hall, library, reading room, Vedic Pundits live chant room, doctor’s rest room, staff rooms, modern hygienic kitchen, dining hall, Gym, audio-visual room, gift store and offices. 24 hours assistance, security, power backup through silent power generators, hot and cold water and internet facility is available in all rooms and in common areas. 5000 liter capacity solar hot water system is installed to provide hot water for bathrooms and kitchen. A. We recommend 2 weeks plan at least. This is the time actually required for detoxification through different procedures and to handle chronic illness. If one does not have 14 days, can also take minimum 7 days plan, which will give some benefits, specially deep relaxation in case of stress, tension, tiredness and fatigue.

21 days plan is better to handle all aspects of health in totality, specially if need serious attention on chronic diseases and deep level purification. We don’t offer one or two days plan for the time being, it gives a taste, temporary benefit but these benefits do not last.
A. Any healthy or sick physiology can take Panchkarma. Healthy body also has lot of toxic elements and need to be flushed out for purification of system. In case of physiology and psychology has accumulated mental or emotional stress, tension or fatigue or one is suffering from chronic illness one needs to take Panchkarma.

Presently at MVHC chronic disease treatment is available for Rheumatic Arthritis, Diabetes (type II), Anemia, Sinusitis, Hypertension, Asthma, Hemorrhoids, Early hair loss (Scalp), Spondylitis (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar) and Urinary Track Infection.

Panchkarma treatment is not recommended for any kind of acute sickness, very week physiology and during pregnancy. It will be good to consult our Vaidyas (Physician) with complete details and after analyzing the situation they will advise the best plan for treatment.
A. Most of the food items served at MVHC are pure vegetarian and organic. Diet varies guest to guest as per the dietary requirements and treatment plan. Our qualified and experienced dietitians discuss the food habits and requirement with each guest and caring Vaidya (Physician) and accordingly kitchen is informed to prepare food. Experienced and well-trained Chef, cooks and kitchen staff is always ready to serve the guests. Dining room is generally open from 7 am to 10 am for breakfast 12.30 pm to 2 pm for lunch and 7 pm to 10 pm for dinner. Pantry for tea (different types), hot water, milk, butter milk etc. is open 24 hours.

We don’t appreciate to have meals in rooms, but in special situation, room service facility is available.
A. Indications and contraindications, specific guidelines on dietary regimen and life style are to be strictly followed.
A. Most of the oils and medicines used are organic or naturally grown. We have asked all our herbs suppliers to guaranty that each batch of herbs is pollution, fertilizer, metal free. MVHC has already started to grow some of its own crops for oils seeds and herbs and in due course of time will start production of herbal preparations.

Organic oils are prepared and herbalized in our campus only. Fresh decoction, powders and many other preparations are done in strict supervision of experts Vaidyas.
A. Principally all Maharishi clinics should run on the same principles of Maharishi Ayurveda, maintaining highest standard of facilities, consultation, care, treatment, herbs, human resources etc. It may differ a bit place to place. We being in central part of India have advantage to get expert Vaidyas, Doctors, Dietitians, Managerial staff, Technicians from all over India.

Uniqueness of MVHC is to have not only Maharishi Ayurveda, but all aspects of Vedic Health care are available under one roof. Thereby Maharishi Vedic Health Centre offers complete and holistic Vedic care to Health.

At present we have team of 5 Vaidyas and each guest receives personal attention and care from one of the Vaidyas. Each guests is provided with personal counseling and Vaidyas have follow up program to make sure every day that treatment is going well and guest has not difficulty of any type. MVHC also conducts very useful various health educative seminars.

Beside recorded Vedic chanting and Maharishi Gandharva Veda music, MVHC is the only Maharishi Health Centre to provide daily live Vedic chanting by Maharishi Vedic Yogic Flyer Pundits. Yagyas are performed every day in Yagya room. Guests can visit, sit comfortably and quietly witness these Maharishi Yagyas if they have time and interest.

Highly qualified and well trained Vaidyas, technical and administrative staff is available round the clock to take complete care of every guest. MVHC Administration includes a General Manager, Manager Operations, Assistant General Manager, Front Desk Officer, Receptionists, Accountant, Cashier, House Keeping Supervisors, Kitchen Supervisors, Chef, Cooks, Kitchen staff, house keeping staff, PK Technicians, Nurses, Security Supervisors, Electricity Control Room Supervisor, Generator Operators, Electricians, Plumbers, and Security Guards.

100% staff is either Siddha or Meditator (new appointees). They are well trained in their profession or duties by professionals and time to time we will give them advance orientation as they grow with MVHC.

TM instructions, Siddhi instructions, Advance Techniques, Jyotish consultation by experts Jyotishies, Yagya recommendations and Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology is also available on MVHC campus.

Its our great pride to inform that no other Maharishi Ayurveda clinic in the world has such huge infrastructure, specially 18 PK rooms and 18 attach rest rooms with bath.
